Access Unlimited Training

Setting a new standard for excellence and make mouth care a key quality indicator on a permanent basis.

​​​​Enroll your care home onto the Mouth Care Training Plan where you will receive full circle support from our team of dental care professionals.   We'll train and provide ongoing support to care staff and oral champions with all aspects of mouth care to include compliance.

​How we Support you...

Unlimited Training

​

All existing and new staff receive Essential Oral Care Training.  Training sessions are 2hrs and held every week.

Train Oral Champions

​

Nominate oral champion as recommended by CQC.  They will receive in-depth training and are supported by us. 

Quarterly Progress Report

​

We hold quarterly reviews with Oral champions. CQC suggest that guidance is developed to support care staff with residents that resist mouth care.

Reporting Mouth Care

Service users that lacks capacity.

We'll open a file for service users that refuse mouth care after several consecutive attempts. Give guidance and monitor.

Certificate Awarded

After 6 months you will be certified as a Mouth Care Aware care home and recognised for providing Quality Mouth Care Plan

Help with Compliance

​

Staff will be aware of good practice in mouth care and will understand the Quality Standards. We'll help you with policies and procedures.

  • What happens after enrolling on the Unlimited Training Plan?
    After submitting the form and subscribing to the selected plan you will shortly receive a confirmation explaining the next steps and we'll also give you a call. We'll telephone the named person on the form. The named person on the form submitted will receive a personalised CODE for the care home. This code should be forwarded onto staff members. Staff members select a Tuesday date and time, enter their name, email address and code on this page. [press button]
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    You can cancel anytime. You just need to email us notifying us that you would like to cancel the programme.
  • Who receives the certificates?
    The named person who has subscribed to the Unlimited Training Plan will receive a list of staff that has attended the training and all the staff certificates.
  • We provide a Home Care Service. Can we apply?
    Yes. The Quality Mouth Care Programme can be applied to any care company whether it provides community care, Learning Disabilities or elderly and nursing.
  • What happens if a staff member attends the Oral Champion Course and then they leave?
    Don't worry, if an Oral Champion leaves we will invite another staff member to attend our next Oral Champion course at no additional charge.
  • Will a dentist attend?
    You will have an allocated dental professional but we do not attend your place of work. If you require a dentist to attend, we are partnered with a group of domiciliary dentists who we can put you in touch with.
  • Do we have to have an Oral Champion?
    Yes, It is a requirement that every care home has at least one Oral Champion. Oral Champions are vital to the success of the Quality Mouth Care Programme.
  • Do you help with CQC compliance?
    Yes, we will ensure that you have everything in place and help you with anything your oral care policy, plans and assessments.
